Trinity Laban are looking for an inspiring, dynamic and creative Ballet Dance Teacher AND Hip-Hop Teacher to join our teaching team, working with young people in the Centre for Advanced Training in Dance.  

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a forward thinking, world-class Higher Education Institution.  At the leading edge of music and dance training, we provide specialist education of the highest quality, which nurtures the individual voice and artistic personality of every student and participant.

The Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) at Trinity Laban is an innovative scheme offering young people with talent and potential in dance access to high quality dance training. The programme of classes provides intensive and rigorous dance training taught by a highly experienced team of professional dance teachers and artists. For the first time we are introducing Hip Hop alongside training in Contemporary, Ballet and Creative work.

We are looking for a Hip-Hop Teacher to deliver classes for 13-18 year olds in Hip Hop Dance technique. 2.25 hours each Saturday in term time from 12.45-15.15, 26 February 2022 - 21 May 2022, plus full day on 13 February.

We are looking for a Ballet Teacher to deliver classes for 13-18 year olds in technique as well as facilitating choreography and/or creative sessions.

3.75-5.5 hours each Saturday in term time from 10.30-15.15 or 17.00 (tbc), 26 February 2022- 25 June 2022.

Teachers must have strong technical dance skills, a creative practise, and be excellent communicators, able to engage and enthuse a broad range of young people with different prior experiences, backgrounds and interests.  Dance Teachers will be responsible for planning and delivering dance activities, from our studios in the Laban Building, Deptford and occasionally in wider community settings (typically South East London).  

Please note, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) will be required.
